Why I Wrote this Book

I struggled with reading throughout Primary School. I hated reading and had no desire to learn to read as I thought the only reason to learn was so you could read books and that held no interest to me. Little did I know about the value of reading and how important it is in helping us enjoy all facts of our life. I believe, if children can see the importance of reading, they will learn to read and we all seem to learn better when we are interested

My background

I am a trained teacher (with over 20 year's experience in childcare, preschool and schools) and I'm very passionate about helping children to see the value of reading and in helping them to develop their literacy skill. Therefore, I decided to write this book. I hope this book helps your child to see the value of reading and ultimately leads to more positive attitude towards reading.
